It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the passing of our son, our heart, Daniel J. Wilson.

Those that knew Daniel in better times knew him to be happy and full of life. You know that he loved deeply and his family and friends were the most important thing in his life. Daniel's smile, laughter, and the sparkle in his eyes could light up any room. If you were fortunate enough to know him well, you knew his love for you was unconditional. He loved to be surrounded by friends and his family. He loved music and he loved to help others when he could.

Over the last year, Daniel began to struggle with alcohol addiction. He attended rehab and was struggling to keep himself sober. During his rehabilitation, Daniel decided that he wanted to pursue nursing school in hopes that he could help people who, like himself, were struggling with addiction. Lately, he began to feel more isolated and hopeless, and in the end, he succumbed to his addiction.

We received word today, October 15, 2025, that Daniel passed away. Details on the events leading to his passing are not coming quickly and this is all we know at this time all we know if that he was found Monday, October 12 and we just found out today.

We hope that those that knew and loved him could help us offset the cost of his funeral and to assist Carmen's travel to Pennsylvania to take care of him and his personal belongings. Anything helps but if you're not in a position to donate, then please take a moment to remember Daniel as you knew him or say a prayer on his behalf. Either way, we are grateful.

A service date has not been established. We still have to settle the issues in Pennsylvania and bring him home. Once we bring him home we will announce a celebration of life date/time.
