Daniel, a dear colleague and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Feb 14, 2017.  

This is unbelievably tragic and a complete shock for us all.  Daniel was an amazing person, so talented and gifted, an absolutely great guy, loving father and husband, he will be absolutely missed by our team and his friends here at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.  He never shied away from the challenges and was always ready to share his tremendous knowledge with everybody.

This is what some of his colleagues are saying:

…I just looked. Spoke to him at 8pm last night. I'm crying. I've spent 5 days straight with him almost every other week since September. I can't tell you how close we became. I just can't believe it. You know how much I respected his knowledge. But he was also very ... good guy. 

…..We've become such good friends. I can barely write this. 

… I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear this. I just spoke with him last Friday regarding the value prop work. He was extremely helpful. This is a big loss. 

…I'm in complete shock I spoke with him yesterday. I am so sorry

…It is indeed a really shocking news. Even yesterday, Kanthi was talking to Daniel about BSP.  Incidentally, Bob, Pradeep and I were reviewing a customer case as Daniel was working on a get well plan for them and we were talking about connecting with Daniel and so it is unbelievable to even think that he is no more with us. It is indeed a great loss to the team,  the larger DP community and our customer base. Please pass on my condolences to his family.
