Help The Bakers Navigate Life with ALS

Hi funders! My name is Lauren and I'm raising money for the Baker family. Daniel Baker, a former EMT and firefighter in the city of Nashville, was diagnosed with ALS this past September at the young age of 36. Daniel and his wife Anna are parents to an 18-month-old son, Daniel III (aka Tripp).

For those of you who aren't familiar (outside of the ice bucket challenge of course), ALS is a fatal progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord resulting in the loss of muscle functionality - this impacts patients' ability to speak, eat, move and breathe.

Your generous contributions will help with long term care, accessibility renovations to their home, medical expenses, travel needs and more.
