On February 8th, my mother-in-law, Devan’s mom, Dana, was severely injured when a family friend’s dog unexpectedly attacked her. She had to undergo emergency surgery that lasted over four hours, and spent the next 8 days hospitalized in St. Cloud. The experience was terrifying for our whole family, and her recovery will be long and difficult.

She faces additional surgeries coming up, along with countless doctor follow-up visits, medications, and the day to day & monthly needs of her family. As we all know, insurance doesn’t cover everything, which means she gets the burden of all medical bills which are already in the tens of thousands of dollars.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward her surgeries, ongoing doctor visits, and the overwhelming medical expenses she is facing. Any contribution—no matter the amount— will help ease the financial burden and allow her to focus on healing, rather than worrying about how to pay for the care she desperately needs.
