Support for Dana McBride - Phase 2

As most of you know, Dana received a cancer diagnosis in the fall of last year. After a wait of several months she was approved for a program that would cover the cost of treatment. When she finally was able to see an oncologist, she was told that she would need chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, in that order.
So, we knew from the start that this would be a long journey. Having completed 8 rounds of chemotherapy, Dana is now in the 4th of 5 weeks of radiation treatments. She is hopeful that the surgery date will be set soon after the radiation phase is over.
Central Health’s Medical Access Program (MAP) is a tremendous blessing; without it, treatment simply would not be possible. But life’s non-medical expenses – mortgage payments, utilities, car repairs, etc. – do not care whether one is too weak or ill to work or has to be at the chemo center for 8 hours every other week or at the radiation center 5 afternoons a week or homebound for an extended period while recovering from major surgery. Sometimes it takes a village to handle those costs, and that is why a GoFundMe campaign was launched last December to reach out to Dana’s amazing community of friends and family. She was immediately showered in love and generosity that provided several months of financial serenity, allowing her to focus on rebuilding her health, rather than worrying about how to pay bills.
Now, as Dana approaches the final and most challenging phase of her treatment protocol, it would be a great help to replenish her financial reserves, and that is the purpose of this new campaign. We invite you to join in this important effort, if you are able. As before, please remember that small donations can add up to a significant amount of assistance.
