Dana and Jeremy welcomed their son, Liam, into the world on March 17, 2026. From the very beginning, Liam proved to be a fighter. He was born with several complex congenital heart conditions including Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR), Heterotaxy Syndrome, and a leaking AV valve.
At just under 72 hours old, Liam underwent open heart surgery. He continued to amaze his doctors with his strength and incredible will to live. For 26 days, he fought bravely in the ICU/CICU, surrounded by the love of his family and care team. Tragically, despite his courage, progress, and the great care he was provided, Liam passed on April 12, 2026.
Dana and Jeremy are now grieving the heartbreaking loss of their baby boy while also facing overwhelming medical expenses from Liam’s time at Norton Children’s Hospital. This fundraiser has been created to support them during this unimaginable time, helping to ease the financial burden so they can focus on healing.
All funds raised will go directly to Dana and Jeremy to assist with medical costs. For those who prefer, donations may also be made in Liam’s honor to organizations that supported the family, including Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation, Brave Hearts, The Children’s Heart Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House.
If you are unable to give financially, your prayers, love, and support for Dana, Jeremy, and their families are deeply appreciated as they navigate this profound loss.
It is our hope that Liam’s story will continue to make a difference—that his strength and journey will help doctors, surgeons, and researchers learn more about these complex heart conditions and bring hope to other families in the future.
