Support for Dan, Brianna, and Baby Dylan
Dear friends, family, and community,
I am organizing this fundraiser for the Webber family.
Recently, Dan was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), H3K27 — an aggressive brain cancer that rarely develops in adults. After experiencing sudden neurological symptoms, this diagnosis has changed everything. Dan is approaching it with hope, strength, and steady determination, supported closely by loved ones and a dedicated Neuro-Oncology team.
This diagnosis brings immense challenges. Both Dan and Brianna have been out of work while navigating appointments, tests, treatment planning, and care for their 16-month-old son, Dylan. The months ahead require intensive medical care, travel, time away from work, and the day-to-day needs of caring for a young child.
If you know Dan, you know his presence: his tall frame, his calming energy, his quiet confidence, and his quick, dry wit that always lands at the perfect moment. He loves disc golf, movies, music, concerts, sharing beers with friends, and spending long days at the family camp on Lake Cobbosseecontee — a place filled with decades of memories with his siblings, parents, friends, cousins, and now his own son and wife.
Dan is a devoted husband to Brianna, who is in her final year of nursing school — an incredibly demanding and time-consuming program. She is set to graduate on May 8th, 2026, and we are all so proud of how hard she has worked. With everything happening, we are hopeful she can continue and complete her program. Through every heartbreak and every joy, Brianna carries herself with grace, strength, and a depth of compassion that inspires everyone around her. She is one of the most dedicated partners and mothers I’ve ever known.
Their baby boy, Dylan, named in loving honor of Dan’s younger brother who passed away in 2021, is a bright, happy, gentle little soul. He brings light into every room, proudly greeting everyone with his favorite words: “Hi!” and “Bye!”
Dan’s family is strong and loving. His sister Miriam and her husband James have always had a strong bond with Dan, and their son Charlie absolutely adores his Uncle Dan. Watching Dan interact with Charlie over the years made it so clear what a natural, loving father he would one day be — and he is exactly that.
Their mother, Katie, is steady, kind, and fiercely loving, and their father, Chuck, is grounded and generous, especially when it comes to the family camp he has helped make into the sanctuary it is today.
This fundraiser is to help Dan and Brianna bridge the financial gap created by missed work and the increased costs associated with treatment.
Anything you can give — donations, sharing this page, or keeping them in your thoughts — means more than you know. Thank you for supporting a family that has given so much love to so many.
With gratitude,
The family and friends of Dan and Brianna
