Congrats Dan & Kaitlin! I had the pleasure of meeting this tiny human at the hospital the other day with my midwife/ lactation consultant hat on and I can attest that she is adorable but her parents are TIRED. Maybe we can help.

As most of you know, the first few days and weeks with a baby are so exciting but can be so tough and tiring and the sleep deprivation can be intense. I’m wondering if we can band together to support Dan and Kaitlin by funding a couple of weeks help from a postpartum doula.

For those of you who don’t know, a postpartum doula is someone with knowledge, experience and training in helping new parents and babies. They can often help with things from meal prep and cleaning to baby care. This would hopefully help Kaitlin and Dan have a chance to recover, get a bit of sleep and get to know their baby. Let’s help the newest branch of the family have the best start they can.

I’d like to help fund 40 hours of doula help for them over the next couple weeks, which would be between$1500-$2000 in total. I anticipate that that some may not be able to contribute, but thanks for considering.
