My dad, Dan Heitzman (father of Chad and Sean Heitzman, and myself, Lauren Denner) experienced a devastating house fire on 1/21/2026, due to a faulty pipe on his woodstove. He and the dog were able to make it out safely, but he has lost almost everything. Dan has some health issues and had been caring for a family member, so he is living on a fixed income and unfortunately due to life circumstances did not have homeowners insurance.
