My name is Erica, and I’m creating this GoFundMe with a heart full of pain and disbelief. On November 23, 2025, my son Damien Crandell, known lovingly as “Dame” or “WildChild,” tragically lost his life at just 28 years old due to gun violence. Losing him has shattered our family in a way words can barely express. Damien had a spirit that stood out everywhere he went. Whether you knew him as Dame or WildChild, you knew his energy, his heart, his loyalty, his smile, and the way he could light up a room. He was vibrant, full of life, and had so much more ahead of him. At 28, he should have had decades of dreams, love, growth, and memories still to come. Instead, we are left grieving a life taken far too soon.

We are asking for support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, and to give Damien the beautiful, peaceful farewell he deserves.
