Support for Damian's Long Recovery

On May 17, our family experienced a heartbreaking and life-altering event. During an altercation that occurred near our apartment complex, my 11 year old brother was struck by a stray bullet. What should have been a normal day turned into a nightmare in seconds.

Damian was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Since then, he has undergone three major surgeries, and several procedures were necessary after the bullet struck both his spine and his side. The injuries were severe, but Damian is fighting with incredible strength.

He remains in the hospital, and the weeks ahead will be filled with recovery—medical care, physical therapy, and emotional support will all be part of helping him heal. The impact of this tragedy has shaken our entire family—not only emotionally, but financially as well. Both of our parents have made the decision to step away from work to focus entirely on his healing, hospital visits, surgeries, and future therapy sessions.

El 17 de mayo, nuestra familia vivió un evento desgarrador y que cambió nuestras vidas.
