Hello, my name is Siqi. My family and I are creating this fundraiser for my dad. Our family is facing an excruciating medical and financial crisis, and we are doing everything we can to keep him safe, supported, and well.

For the past six years, my dad has been living alone in China, separated from our family while struggling under overwhelming debt. Due to this financial hardship, he has been unable to afford even the most basic daily necessities.

Recently, he began experiencing severe difficulty eating and digesting food. A family friend urged him to seek medical care, and he went to a hospital in Guangzhou for an examination. During that visit, doctors discovered a rapidly growing, life-threatening cancer tumor in his stomach that was at risk of rupturing. Due to the urgency of his condition, my dad had to undergo emergency surgery on the same day he was diagnosed.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and he is now in recovery. However, the medical bills from this emergency are far beyond what our family can afford. Because of long-standing debt and financial collapse, my dad has no means to pay for these costs on his own.

I would also like to be very clear that I am not asking for donations to pay off our family’s debt. I am only asking for help covering my dad’s emergency medical expenses and basic survival needs so he can recover without the constant fear of financial ruin.

Due to his financial situation, my dad is now bankrupt and under strict financial and travel restrictions. He cannot leave the country or access normal banking tools such as credit cards. These limitations make daily life incredibly difficult for him. He struggles to afford food, safe housing, and ongoing medical care.

In addition to this, my dad suffers from severe, uncontrolled diabetes. His A1C level is 13, which is dangerously high. He has nerve damage in his feet and can barely walk. Because he cannot afford insulin or proper treatment, his condition continues to worsen each day.

Due to government circumstances, my mom cannot safely return to China, and my dad cannot come to the United States. Their separation is not by choice, but by circumstances completely beyond their control.

My mom is currently living in the U.S., working a minimum-wage job and sending whatever little she can to help my dad survive. Despite her nonstop effort, it is still not enough to cover insulin, medical care, and basic living expenses abroad.

I haven’t seen my dad in six years. Even if our family may never be able to reunite physically, our greatest hope is to ensure that he is cared for, supported, and not suffering alone.

We are humbly and kindly asking for help to cover essential medical and survival costs, including:

• Chemotherapy expenses

• Support during recovery from emergency surgery
