Our father has had an anoxic brain injury and has been in a coma since December 11, 2024 from going into cardiac arrest four times. This has caused a significant impact on our family.
Due to the severe extensive medical care and rehabilitation, they are shipping our father out of state 8 hours away. Our father currently has 5 children in school.
This has caused a financial burden on our mother. She is doing her best to balance our father in the hospital and raising 5 kids.
Given our family’s situation, my mother will be using the money for travel, food, car repairs, and potentially renting a temporary apartment to be near our father during his rehabilitation.
Even if your not able to contribute a lot of Money $5 would be appreciated and never forget the Prayers for our Family needs all we can get.
The primary goal is to alleviate some of the financial stress, allowing my mother to focus on supporting our father's recovery.
The cost for my mom to stay there for 3 days is $600 dollars, including a hotel room, gas, and food. It does not include the wear and tear on her vehicle nor any children to go with her to visit their dad.

He is now opening his eyes, and the doctors are going to start weaning him off the ventilator tomorrow and see if he tolerates it.
His weaning off the ventilator is determined off and on as his brain heals until he can fully tolerate being without the ventilator.
Until he completes this weaning process we will be traveling back and forth from Chicago and Missouri to keep up with his visits that helps him through this rehab process.
