My dad is the most selfless, giving, caring, and hardworking man on this planet. (Biased, I know, but it’s true)

He has spent his entire life helping others and giving to those in need. He’s the type of man that will literally give you the shirt off his back if you need it more than he does. He believes in doing right by the Lord and earning every dollar he gets. He has never asked for a handout nor would he ever, but I’m not too proud to ask for his sake.

He was experiencing some numbness and tingling on the right side of his body. He noticed it but took an aspirin and went on to work. He did this for 2 weeks, ignoring his symptoms and hoping they would resolve on their own. His vision in his right eye started to get really blurry, and he began to worry, not able to ignore the signs any further. He finally drove himself to the ER to get checked out, and his CT scan showed a huge subarachnoid cyst that’s grown so large it pushed his brain past midline. He was transferred to UT Health hospital in Tyler, TX to have brain surgery to get it removed. While he has health insurance to help cover his medical expenses, he is stressing about his recovery time after surgery and how much work he is going to miss. The last thing he needs to worry about is his mortgage, truck note, insurance, phone bill, etc. He just needs to focus on rest and recovery, but he can’t help but stress about his finances in the meantime. He’ll most likely be out of work for 6 weeks or longer depending on how surgery goes.

If anyone is able and willing to help out, it would mean the world to us. He has a big enough battle ahead, and that would help ease some of his burden. Thank you in advance, and keep him in your prayers, please!
