I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my previously fit 66-year-old father, who suffered a devastating stroke while visiting my brother and I in the United States. We rushed him to the ER immediately, and he was admitted to the ICU soon after. He remains in the ICU completely paralyzed on the right side and unable to speak properly. We are facing a long rehabilitation process and overwhelming hospital expenses since he does not have US Medical Insurance. My brother and I will be managing the funds to pay his medical bills and all related costs, and are quite puzzled as to how we are going to do the same, which is when we were suggested to start a GoFundMe campaign.
