Hi everybody ❤️ we really thought we would have more time with dad, but it didn’t work out that way. God and mom and all our angels in heaven decided they wanted to bring him home early.. Dad passed at 4:11am at Hospice on Friday, February 7th, 2025.

Any time I try to write this, I hesitate to post because I want it to be perfect. The truth is I never will be able to put it into words how much I love and miss my dad. He was everything to me. I don’t know who I am without him. He was my rock and still is. He raised me himself after my mom died with the help of my sisters, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him.

Dad did not want a “sad” funeral, so we are doing a simple cremation for now. He did want a “happy” Celebration of Life. We will be planning for late summer to early fall so all of dad’s loved ones can try to attend.

I did have some savings, but the costs associated with dad’s care did deplete it greatly. This gofundme will be used to cushion the costs of the cremation, home affairs, and finally any costs associated with Dad’s Celebration later this year. There is no urgent pressure to give, so please only give what you can. Sharing is appreciated but given the weight of this grief I do understand if people can’t share either. I love you all, I’ll hopefully have more to say later after I rest. ❤️❤️❤️
