Hey guys! I am making this for my dad. He turned 69 years young on 9/7 and 3 days later had to be resuscitated 2x by EMTs due to his heart giving out and his defibrillator not doing its job. He then spent the next week in the hospital before getting life lighted to UIHC hospital and spending a month there. He was then told he was in heart failure and his heart was working at only 10%. They found a medication that is working and got his heart pumping at 27% but he’s still in heart failure and has to wear a pump in a back pack and carry it with daily. His entire life had changed. The next steps of this med doesn’t continue working is an LVAD and then heart transplant. Until any of that happens he needs to drive back and forth to Iowa City which for him is a 4-hr drive. He also has a down payment on this machine keeping him alive he needs to pay off of $1,500.00. Please help any way you can. He is on disability and is limited on income and all money will go to him for gas and food etc. Thank you in advance
