My name is Leslie, and I am trying to raise money for my father.

Yesterday, on April 21st at 5 a.m., my father was leaving for work, and he saw two guys wearing hoodies stealing his catalytic converter. My father, if you know him-- is the type of person who always stands up to people or helps out the little guy.

He was attacked and knocked out by the two assailants who took his catalytic converter. They drove off in their white car and left him in the street lying in a pool of his own blood. Luckily, he was found by a neighbor who was walking their dog. If not, who knows how long he would have been on the street. The police were called, and he was taken to the hospital.

He is currently in the ICU with a fracture in his skull and eye socket. We are not sure for how long he will be there for. Luckily, his condition is getting better, and he seems to be in good spirits.

UPDATE: 

The funds will be used to pay for his copayment medical bill, repairing the car, replacing his phone. He will also be staying at a board and care facility for a month, so he can receive physical therapy. Lastly, any lost wages from work since he will not be able to work for who knows how long.
