Steve, my dad has dedicated his entire life to serving his family, neighbors, community members, fellow church-goers and colleagues without ever asking anything in return until now.

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer in early February 2025. He’s been the sole provider of the home while my parents raise a 9 year old granddaughter with high needs and my mom struggles with a lifelong destructive autoimmune disease.

The funds we have received so far have helped significantly with medical costs, especially since he has been hospitalized almost every other week since we found out about his diagnosis. We are so grateful and humbled as a family to be receiving love and support from others.

Medical personnel has informed us during his current hospitalization that we may not have much longer with him so we’re gathering family together.

Jackson, one of his sons, is in Finland serving a voluntary church mission. He was there when we received the news of our dad’s cancer. We are now needing to pay to bring him home as soon as possible to fulfill his and our dad’s wishes to see each other, as well as pay for the many upcoming medical bills.
