Dad was just, loved laughing, deeply sensitive, extremely intelligent, very lucid, loved sharing stories, loved his students, loved our nation, had an incredible memory, enjoyed kidding others, and, deep down inside, like an inquisitive 9-year-old boy. He always loved learning something new, cooking something new, and trying something new -- even to his last day.

We are raising funds to help cover the burial expenses, loss of social security money for mom, and the other necessary final arrangements that follow a death. Because no will was written, there are additional probate and legal costs required to properly settle his affairs. This includes attorney fees, court filings, and the legal process needed to navigate the estate. These expenses can add up quickly and are necessary to handle everything correctly.
