Support for Cynthia's Aunt After Storm Damage

My name is Cynthia Adams. My aunt and her son, Todd, live in Hendersonville, NC. Their property has been devastated, as have many more. They have a very large tree that has fallen in the roadway to their property, blocking the road. It has also fallen on electrical lines. They did finally get electricity yesterday, October 8, 2024. They still don't have internet. They also had no water and limited food. My aunt's granddaughter finally got some food to them, so they are finally doing better.

The reason I'm requesting $1000 is because they had to have the tree across their driveway and road cut down, and since it's in their yard, they are responsible for paying to have the tree removed. You would think with all the charity going on in that area that they wouldn't have to pay for the tree, but they do. My aunt is almost 80 years old and on a very limited income. Anything anyone would donate would be tremendously helpful towards the cost of removing the tree. Thank you and God bless all the first responders and just regular people that are able to help.
