Support for Cynthia Hightower

A few weeks ago Cynthia was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors. She went through a brain surgery to biopsy the tumor and the next steps are Chem and radiation which are scheduled to start on 9/22. During the last week she has had some serious set backs with brain swelling, seizures and her ability to take care of herself. Currently she is not able walk, or take care of herself in the way she was able to before. Due to us being in Nevada and Conrado working full time we are exploring all of our options to get the resources to take care of her and also get her to and from her Radiation appointments which will be every week day for 6 weeks. As we are having to navigate this for the first time in our lives we are finding out just how expensive care is.  A full time caregiver for a month I am finding will be about $15,000. The money raised will go towards ensuring Cynthia is getting proper care and is able to make it through the next 6 weeks of Chemo and Radiation.  We are hopeful that after getting through Chemo and Radiation. The swelling in her brain will reduce and the tumors will shrink and she will be able to regain her ability to walk and care for herself again.
