As many of you are aware, my mother was admitted to the hospital on September 27, 2025. We were told she suffered a massive stroke.

It was a surprise to all of us. When I spoke with her just days prior, we were laughing & sharing memories. Now this. She seemed completely fine, never mentioning anything was wrong.

To our dismay, she was placed on life support & suddenly passed on Sunday, October 5th, 2025.

My family & I are in shock. We are heartbroken.

People all over the world have experienced sudden loss of friends & or family members. I am now experiencing that involuntary trauma.

My brother & I are tasked with the immense and immediate responsibility of planning her homegoing. While we navigate this difficult time, we take comfort knowing my mother is reunited in heaven with our youngest brother, who passed away in 2010.

With tremendous sadness, we are attempting to uncover any unknown life insurance policies. As with any sudden loss, we are left with an unexpected financial burden.

Ironically, my mother dedicated her career as a Communications Dispatcher for Atlanta Police, as a first responder. We are now asking those of you who shared a laugh, a lunch, or a memory with her to be a first responder for us during this devastating time.
