My name is Leah Bierer, and I am the mother of one of the survivors of this devastating crash. Watching my son and these incredible men fight to heal has been heartbreaking and humbling. My hope is to ease at least one burden for them, the overwhelming medical costs, so they can focus fully on recovery, healing, rebuilding their lives, and getting back to work at CSX.

They started their day like any other, a six-man crew heading to work in that work van. After the accident, only five made it out alive. The loss of their coworker, friend, and brother has left an unfillable space, and the impact of that day will stay with them forever.

With your help, the hope/goal is to ease some of the heavy burden they are facing by providing support for the medical care, therapy, and journey of healing ahead.

All donations received will be shared equally between the 5 CSX employees to support them throughout their recovery.
