On September 10th, our beloved Cris was in a terrible car accident that left him with significant brain damage. He has a long road ahead filled with uncertainty, intensive rehabilitation, and the unknowns that come with recovery from such a devastating injury.

Cris and Noelle are the proud parents of twin 3-year-old boys, who adore their dad. This young family’s world has been turned upside down overnight.

Those who know Cris and Noelle know they are not ones to ask for help. They are hardworking, humble, and would never choose this path if there were another option. But as the future unfolds, it’s becoming clear that they will need support to navigate what’s next.

Depending on Cris’s recovery, the family may need to:

• Remodel their home to make it wheelchair-accessible or purchase a new home that fits Cris’s needs

• Purchase specialized equipment or a wheelchair-accessible vehicle

• Cover medical and rehabilitation costs not fully covered by insurance

• Plan for in-home or long-term care

All of this, along with future needs, falls on Noelle, while she also cares for two growing toddlers and supports Cris through the uncertain future of recovery.
