On May 9th, 2026, Christy Crawford-Vargas experienced a tragedy that changed her family's life forever. Her husband, Eric Vargas, and their two daughters, Xiomara and Xenia, were involved in a devastating accident on the 60 freeway in Pomona. Eric passed away on impact, and both girls were airlifted to LA General hospital in critical condition. The family is now facing unimaginable grief and uncertainty as Xiomara recovers in the hospital after a successful surgery, while Xenia continues to receive care.
