Support for Craig Olson's Memorial and Wife

Donation protected
On behalf of myself and my husband, we’d like to pass along the words of our sister, as she shares the news of the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved family member Craig Olson.
“On Saturday, July 6th, I lost my husband, Craig Olson, in a tragic accident at the lake. He was my very best friend for over 33 years, 28 of those years also as husband and wife. We shared many wonderful experiences, had an abundance of love in our lives, had a large family devoted to one another, and many dear and treasured friends.
Craig loved music, hunting, fishing, carpentry, golf, travel, and practical jokes. He loved his mom and called her every Tuesday on his drive home from work. He had a distinct laugh and a contagious spirit that often made any room a bit louder and always more fun. He will be missed beyond measure."
Craig was a residential carpenter and a recognized expert in the trade who was notorious for his quest for perfection. He was self-employed for nearly 20 years. He officially started Olson Carpentry in 2006 and worked with the same crew, that have become a small family, for almost that entire time.
We have been blessed with many inquiries for support, so we have created this fund to support Glory (Craig’s wife) with the expenses of laying Craig to rest and to support the Olson Carpentry crew, each of whom are the sole providers of their households. Any contribution in Craig’s memory will be used towards helping Glory with his memorial services and associated end-of-life expenses, as well as support for her and the carpentry crew he leaves behind.
A celebration of life is being held in his honor in his hometown of Lanesboro, Minnesota on Friday, July 26th from 3:00-6:00pm. Plans for a celebration of life in Kansas City will be held on July 31st at the Abdallah Shriners Temple at 5:30pm.
We are grateful and appreciate the outpouring number of emails, texts, calls, and messages and countless and selfless acts of support that have helped comfort us through this devastating time. For now, please keep our family in your hearts and prayers as we navigate through this difficult time. Thank you for your love and support, every donation is deeply cherished and embraced with heartfelt gratitude.
