Support for Damir's Medical bills

Dear family and friends,

My cousin is facing a difficult health situation which has hospitalized him twice in the last 40 days. He is currently in the hospital for the past two weeks.

It all started with stomach pain causing him to go the hospital. After the checkup he was diagnosed with an infection in colon (Diverticulitis). He went into immediate surgery, and instead of removing colon, they put in tubes through stomach to drain the infection/pus out. Three weeks later the tubes fell out and doctor said all was fine. He went back to work for a week and started having stomach pain again. He drove himself to emergency room, where they said he had to complete another procedure to remove portion of colon causing him to need ostomy bag. Although he has had several procedures, due to medication both of his kidney are still failing. He has to complete a 4 hour dialysis (3 days a week). Doctor wasn't sure how many he will need.

He is still in the hospital, with no health insurance leading to high medical bills. He currently has no benefits through his employer, making it difficult to keep up on not only medical bills, but also his personal living bills.
