It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Courtney Rhodes .A father, son, brother, and friend to so many. His sudden loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never truly be filled.

If you knew Courtney, you truly knew joy. He was always the first to crack a joke and naturally became the life of any gathering. His sense of humor was unmatched, his energy unforgettable, and his heart bigger than words can express. Courtney was deeply loving and fiercely loyal, the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He was also an incredible cook who loved bringing people together through food and laughter.

More than anything, Courtney loved his family. Being a father to his son Cohen brought him so much joy, laughter, and purpose. Their bond meant the world to him.

Courtney leaves behind his son Cohen Rhodes , his loving parents Betty Rhodes and Van Rhodes Sr., his brother Van Rhodes Jr., his sister Shameka Rhodes and many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

As Courtney’s brother, I am asking for help to give my brother the homegoing he deserves. During this incredibly difficult time, we are raising $10,000 to help cover funeral and memorial expenses and to support the family as we navigate this loss.
