Our family is walking through a very unexpected and difficult season, and we wanted to share an update about our mom, Corina. Recently, Corina underwent brain surgery at Penn to remove a tumor. The surgery itself was successful, and we are incredibly grateful to the medical team who cared for her. At this time, we are still waiting on pathology results to determine the tumor’s grade and what the next steps will look like. The waiting has been one of the hardest parts.

As Corina begins recovery, she will need time, rest, support, and help with everyday needs. Between medical appointments, rehabilitation, potential treatments, and time away from work for both Corina and her immediate family, the road ahead may be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding.
