Support for Cori

Hi! My name is Brianna Palazzolo and I am the daughter of Cori Palazzolo. I am making this go fund me for my mom. In January of 2019 my mom got diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. This took a huge toll on our family and made us realize we needed to make some changes. Us kids needed to step up, work harder and provide for our family. Our family’s love for each other grew and we realized all we needed was each other. We helped my mom with appointments, care, love and support. My mom never gave up and not a day passed where she didn’t say “I got this”. Soon she was cancer free…..they said. In January of 2021 the beast (as she likes to call it) came back. We were devastated, heartbroken and wished that this beautiful soul didn’t have to go through hell all over again. But she fought. Harder and harder each day to help her family. Throughout this entire journey, sure she did it for her, but she did it for her family. She worked every day she could to keep income coming in. To keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Because that’s what you do for your family. As crazy as it sounds, we always knew she was okay. She wanted us not to worry. My mom is an Angel and a warrior, no doubt. Since then, my mom has been keeping the beast at bay. AMEN! Her work has provided her with a safe space. They have been more than understanding of her situation, allowing her flexibility and support constantly. With that being said, recently she has realized she needs to prioritize herself. She needs to take care of her body and her mental health! So she decided that she will be going on disability, leaving her work after 20 years. This was a difficult decision as those people were her home away from home! She is always motivated to do better and be better! This is time where she is finally putting herself first. I am so proud to be her daughter and be able to support her throughout this crazy journey. Our family has been blessed with an abundance of love and support and we have such a safe place that we can call home. We are truly blessed. But times recently have been tight with money, really tight. Someone going through something so traumatic should not be overwhelmed with other factors such as money, bills, or even being able to buy groceries. I want my mom to be more comfortable financially and not have to worry if we are going to be able to pay our bills. This is me asking for help from anyone who can relate, understand or simply just wants to help. I can’t thank those enough who are already supporting and helping my family wether it’s emotionally or financially. We love you and care about you. Bottom line is I just want to be able to help my mom get healthy without the worry of providing for our family. Thank you guys, we love you! God is good!
