Support for Corey Mankin & Family
Donation protected
On August 6th, Corey Mankin was the passenger in a tragic car accident that required him to be airlifted to Shock Trauma at UMMC in Baltimore. He’s making progress daily, but has a long road to recovery ahead of him. If the trauma of the incident wasn’t already enough, his medical bills are quickly piling up. Due to his injuries, he will have to be out of work indefinitely.
Since the accident and at the time this was written, Corey has already undergone a number of procedures. Immediately following the incident, he was rushed into emergency surgery for internal bleeding, resulting in the removal of his spleen. Following this were procedures to repair his crushed pelvis and a wound on his gut. In response to his three fractured vertebrae, he was recently fitted with a custom back brace. He thankfully will not need surgery on his back, but he has a collapsed lung with remaining fluid that is being monitored carefully. As he progresses in his recovery, he will need extensive physical therapy to get his body back to the mobile state it was once in.
Corey has worked incredibly hard to get to where he is in life. He recently started his own contracting company and was eager to invest a lot of himself into building this business. He has always gone out of his way to support his friends and family when they have needed him and makes a lasting impact on everyone that he meets. Now is our chance to reciprocate his hard work and compassion.
Your kind donations will help ensure that Corey’s parents and younger brother can give him the care he will need moving forward while also taking care of themselves. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards getting back the Corey that we know and love. If you’re unable to donate, please share this with your friends and family.
Thank you for your time, compassion, and resources directed towards Corey and his family.
