Support for Coretta Wilborn and Family
Donation protected
Almost a month ago, in early September, Joe Wilborn and his beautiful daughter, Zenetta were both hospitalized one day apart in attempt to fight off Covid pneumonia. In typical fashion, both Joe and Zenetta took on this battle with all of the tenacity that you'd expect from a Wilborn. For four weeks, the selfless father and the young and beautiful daughter fought long and hard...but tragically, they weren't able to overcome their illness and succumbed to the fight, passing three days apart.
Those of you who knew Joe know that he’d give you the shirt off of his back, if you needed it. And he would do that without fanfare or without any expectation of being paid back. But, his family needs our help now….Joe’s high school sweetheart and wife of 36 years, Coretta, has unexpectedly lost both her husband her youngest child. This loving and Godly woman now faces not only the grief over losing Joe and Zenetta, but she and the surviving children, Cornetta, Johnetta and Joe IV face the financial burden of memorial expenses, medical expenses and lost wages.

The family appreciates any donations and prayers.
Coretta is leaning on the verse Psalm 23:
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
