Cooper’s fight started in October. Stephanie’s and Kenny’s world stopped with one phone call saying Cooper had been shot—never a call any parent would want to receive. Since that call, GOD and Cooper have shown us what a true fighter he is. He surpassed healing goals and was sent home to recover, giving everyone hope and gratitude for his progress.

Unfortunately, since being sent home, Cooper has faced setbacks. He was re-admitted to Sacred Heart with issues related to his lungs. On Thanksgiving Day, Cooper was med-flighted to the University of Birmingham and is now in the ICU awaiting surgery. The family is facing mounting travel and medical expenses as they support Cooper through this ongoing journey.

I have launched this GoFundMe to help and assist Stephanie, Kenny, and Cooper. They have gone through so much as Stephanie fights her own health battle, and Cooper continues to fight with all he has.
