So my younger sister and older brother ( cousin) passed away last week. On September 23, 2025, our family experienced a shocking and heartbreaking tragedy. Constance (Connie) Mustin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. What began as a complaint of difficulty breathing quickly escalated to a devastating loss. In a matter of moments, they went from concern to profound grief, as Connie was taken without warning.
The pain of losing Connie would have been unbearable on its own.
However, the tragedy was compounded by an even more unimaginable turn of events. Just four days later, on September 27, 2025, Connie's older brother Robert also passed away, due to a heart attack, creating an unthinkable double loss for the family.
Connie was more than just a sister and cousin to us—she was our best friend, a soul so pure and compassionate that her loss leaves an irreplaceable void in our heart. She was the type of person who just wanted everyone around her to be ok. She lived her life to help people. My mom and Cousin C, Connie and Robert's mother, now face the most devastating journey a parent could ever imagine—burying not one, but two children. The weight of this loss is beyond words. No parent should ever have to bury their children, let alone do so within days of each other. The pain is immeasurable, the grief insurmountable.
Robert was a father and my only brother left after my other brother passed a few years back. Robert left here not really knowing how much he was like by so many.
The financial cost of two separate memorial services has become overwhelming for the family. Connie and Robert did not wish to be cremated, which means traditional burial arrangements are necessary. I am raising funds to help cover the funeral and burial expenses for both Connie and Robert.
All donations will go directly to their immediate family to ensure that arrangements are handled with care and respect. Your support will help us give them the heartfelt farewell they deserve and ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
