Hello, my name is Carrie Hunter. On behalf of my friend, Wendy Rollins, I am creating this go fund me. Here is a message from the family:
Last Friday, my beautiful boy, Colton Warren Moser, lost his life in a shocking and deeply senseless act of negligence alongside two of his special-needs roommates — vulnerable young men who depended on others for care, safety, and protection. Our world stopped in an instant, and nothing will ever feel the same again. The pain of losing him this way is something no family should ever have to endure.
Colton had a big bright smile and a very special spirit that impacted everyone around him. He taught us all so much about how beautiful being different truly was and to not judge others. We are so grateful for the 25 years we were honored to be his family and will miss him every day.
Right now, we are trying to find the strength to honor Colton’s life and carry forward the love and light he gave so freely, while also navigating the overwhelming grief and shock that has come with this tragedy. We are asking for help with the unexpected expenses that come with laying him to rest, creating a meaningful celebration of his life, and preparing for potential legal costs as we seek accountability and answers.
Asking for help is not easy, but so many people have reached out asking how they can support us during this heartbreaking time. If you are able to donate, share this page, or simply keep Colton’s memory alive in your hearts, it means more than words can ever express.
Thank you for loving our sweet boy with us.
Thank you for helping us carry his light forward when our hearts feel unbearably heavy.
With endless love and gratitude.
