Support for Cody Black's Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Ashlyn. As I am sure many of you know, Cody Black passed away on May 10, 2024. His family needs help to pay for his funeral expenses after an untimely, unexpected death.

Cody passed away peacefully in his home. Cody was a firm believer in Jesus and enjoyed sharing his knowledge about the Bible with anyone who would listen. Cody was baptized two months ago. He had a heart of gold & his smile could not be matched. He adored his family. His parent's home was always welcoming and I know anyone reading this knows mama Kim is beyond broken-hearted as is Jeff, Brad, Dusty & Nathan.

There are no words that seem to be substantial in this moment. The Bible certainly did not say this life would be easy. It has been said that if we were not sick, we would not need a doctor. Thru pain & suffering we hit our knees.

The Word of God tells many parables about the struggles even God's own disciples faced. I have heard Cody talk about the trumpets, what they would sound like & what it would be like when Revelations played out. He accepted God as his savior & he knew where he was going. I imagine he is in such peace up there.

Cody's funeral services will be held on May 18th, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie. The exact time is unknown, but this post will be updated when that information is obtained.
