My husband has always been the heart of our family and our community. For 30 years, he dedicated himself to coaching AAU basketball, guiding young athletes both on and off the court. He was always there to help his players—driving across town to pick them up for practice, making sure they had meals, and supporting them in any way he could. He never expected anything in return, simply wanting to see his kids succeed. Many of his former players have gone on to achieve great things in their lives, both in business and in sports, thanks in part to his kindness and mentorship.

His coaching accomplishments are well known and respected in the AAU community. Over the years, he led his teams to become Gus Macker All-World Champions, earning both 1st and 2nd place, as well as AAU Champions. His dedication and leadership have left a lasting impact on countless young athletes and their families.

Now, we are facing a challenge we never expected. My husband has become very ill and needs a heart transplant. While our insurance covers most of the medical expenses, we are still receiving bills for costs that aren't covered. On top of that, with my husband unable to work, our family is experiencing significant financial hardship. The stress of mounting bills and reduced income has been overwhelming, but we are doing our best to stay hopeful and strong for each other.
