In November 2024, I received a Stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis. Since January 2025, I have been undergoing chemotherapy every three weeks, with surgery scheduled imminently.
I am a dedicated basketball coach for local children and a significant volunteer at Atalaya Elementary, providing mentoring, coaching, and community support. Following the loss of my mother several years ago, I became the primary caregiver for my medically fragile, nonverbal, wheelchair-bound brother, who requires extensive care. My current medical treatments have unfortunately interrupted my employment and caregiving responsibilities, leaving my wife as our sole financial provider. Without both our incomes its been difficult to stay a float. My struggle with not being able to help provide for my family is causing stress and anxiety all of us. I've never been one to ask to hand outs or help, but at this most difficult time in my life I'm reaching out hoping this can help my family out in any way until I am fully recovered and able to work full time again. This financial burden will intensify post-surgery during my recovery. Therefore, I respectfully request any assistance family and friends can provide. We deeply appreciate your support and prayers during this difficult time. Love and Peace to all.
