Many of you will know Tim Briggs. Whether on the Golf course, out on the water, through the workplace or coaching our kids on the rugby field. Tim is a familiar face to all.

Unfortunately last Wednesday Tim and his family got the shock of their lives when he unexpectedly suffered a major heart complication requiring him to be medivaced off island to receive further treatment in Perth. Tim's family soon joined him to be by his side through this challenging time.

Tim and Ness are long time residents to Christmas Island and are actively involved in the community and have always been there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

It's unknown how long they will be off island at this stage and while the family is unable to earn an income every little bit helps to ease the financial burden.

All funds donated will be used to help the family get through the next few weeks or months untill they are back on their feet.

It's our time to lend a hand back.
