Due to unfortunate events that occurred on August 23rd, 2025, two of our brothers were suspended. CO R. Myles and CO A. Gomez were both suspended due to events that stemmed from an inmate's own actions, resulting in his own death. While death for anyone is always unfortunate, the department again had to place blame at the feet of these officers, without them doing anything relating to this person taking their own life. These two men, who were both on overtime, are hardworking and deserving of better than the curveball the department has thrown their way. Let's extend a lifeline to these officers in their time of need, and do whatever we can for them.
