In late December, Clemen, my wife's mama, had an x-ray that revealed a small anomaly in her lung. At first, doctors thought it was tuberculosis and prescribed medicine. However, just two weeks ago, that small spot had grown into a tumor the size of a child's fist. This past week, we received the devastating news that the cancer has spread to her thyroid. The speed and seriousness of her diagnosis have left our family in shock, and we are doing everything we can to support her through this difficult time.

The funds raised will go directly toward Clemen's medical bills, treatments, and the medicine she needs. Although the doctors have told us there is no hope of remission, we are determined to try anything that might give her comfort and quality of life. Clemen just celebrated her 65th birthday this past Monday. When asked what she wanted, she simply said, "I want to go home." She sometimes feels like a burden because of her illness, but we remind her every day that she carried us for nine months, and now it's our turn to care for her. Seeing her smile at these words means everything to us.
