Support for Candace, Chris and Clayton's Daughter and Family

On June 26, 2024 Clayton Bartlett, 51 Years Old, Was senselessly murdered in Troup County Georgia. Leaving behind an 18 year old daughter Kelsey, a sister Candace (Candy) Burdette - Bartlett and brother Chris Bartlett. Clayton was loved by many and always tried to live his life to the fullest, and loved to be adventurous and lived the best life he was capable of living. One of Clayton's passions was bringing old lawn tractors back to life by painting and restoring all the way down to the tires. Some were for use and some were for fun and collecting for all to admire. He had a Facebook page dedicated to this passion named Off The Grass Mowers that shows quite a few of his master pieces including videos. He was extremely talented in his trade and took pride in his work.

Another passion was fishing and long canoe camping trips down Georgia rivers. He could always be seen with a tribe of kids learning how to fish or just plain having fun.

He fiercely loved his daughter, and all of his family.

The individual that committed the murder is still in jail, where he will remain. This heinous act was calculated and should not have happened. His time with us was taken away ruthlessly and no amount of justice will be enough to mend the broken hearts left behind. It has been placed in the hands of Candace Burdette - Bartlett , his sister to handle his affairs. His body has finally been released from Georgia Bureau of Investigations and the family can finally begin to do what is necessary as far as arrangements for his cremation, and try and obtain some sort of closure. Clayton did not have life insurance so all of the costs to complete all things necessary have put a huge strain on Candy and the rest of the family. They not only need to pay for cremation, but they will need to pay for transportation and help to get his belongings from his home which is approximately and hour and a half away from Candy, as to prevent loss of all of his belongings. Our goal is to provide some financial relief to both Candy for having to pay for the cremation, transportation of his belongings, and his daughter for anything she may need to help overcome the grief that is instilled in her future. All of lost time at work due to the details surrounding Clayton's death, has caused a financial strain on the remaining family and we hope to be able to recoup some that has been lost. Anything that you can donate will be much appreciated.
