Clay is my cousin, and he’s going through an incredibly tough time. He has end stage cirrhosis of the liver and pulmonary fibrosis, which has meant frequent hospital stays and a lot of uncertainty. Without insurance and unable to work, Clay has used up his savings and is struggling to pay his bills. Our family is just starting the process to get him disability benefits, but that takes time, and we’re looking at every possible option to help him get by.
