My name is Edwin, and I am raising funds to support my dad, Hector Fernando, after the heartbreaking loss of my mom, Claudia. Our family’s journey over the past two years has been incredibly difficult. In October 2024, my mom, Claudia, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faced her diagnosis with courage and underwent chemotherapy, but in October 2025, we received more devastating news: she had developed a tumor in her brain. She went through 10 sessions of radiation, which caused her to lose vision in one eye. Despite these challenges, Claudia continued to fight with incredible strength and hope.

In January 2026, my mom was diagnosed with tumors on her dorsal spine. Even as her health declined, she remained a source of love and inspiration for our family. After two years of battling cancer, Claudia passed away on May 1, 2026. The loss has left a deep void in our lives, especially for my dad, who was by her side every step of the way.

We are now facing the difficult reality of covering funeral expenses and supporting my dad as he navigates life without his beloved wife, Claudia. Any support you can offer will help us honor her memory and provide my dad with the help he needs during this painful time.
