My name is Casey Neal, and I am raising funds for my mom, Claudette Myers, and my daughter Erica.

On the night of January 6, my mom lost her home in a devastating house fire in Walnut Cove, North Carolina.

Her 17-year-old granddaughter, Erica, realized something was wrong and alerted her in time. Because of her quick thinking, my mom was able to escape safely, and the family dog was saved. Tragically, all of their cats succumbed to smoke inhalation. This loss has been especially heartbreaking for Erica.

The fire left the home completely uninhabitable. They were displaced immediately and lost everything inside the house, including clothing, furniture, personal belongings, school items, and essential household necessities.

My mom is on a fixed income, which makes recovering from this loss especially difficult. While she does have homeowners insurance, the claims process will take time, and many immediate needs cannot wait.

Funds raised will help cover:
