Hello family and friends, my name is McKenna and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear sister and brother-in-law, AnnaLisa and Enowah Clark. We are utterly devastated to share of the tragic passing of their beautiful and healthy baby boy, Miles Irwin Clark.

On April 17th as AnnaLisa went into labor, they were elated that within a few short hours Miles’ head was already crowning. Within moments their joyful anticipation turned to alarm and utter dismay as it became clear his shoulders were stuck behind her pelvis, preventing him from being delivered, and creating an unpredictable emergency known as shoulder dystocia.

The doctors worked with AnnaLisa, doing everything in their power to safely deliver Miles. By the time he was born, looking stunningly perfect, Miles had passed away. This devastating loss has left the Clark family heartbroken and overcome with a painful grief no parent ever wants to bear. Adding to their challenges, Enowah has been diligently searching for a job while coping with this immense loss, making the timing and financial burden that much more daunting.

As they are trying to navigate this newfound grief and postpartum healing period without their baby boy, and their 3 other children without their baby brother, we are asking for anyone who can offer support through donations to help alleviate the immediate financial burdens that accompany tragedies like this.
