Support for Cindy Douds' Family After Tragic Fire

I am the niece of Cindy Douds, creating this gofundme to support the immediate family in covering the clean up costs associated with the house fire.

Cindy passed away tragically in a house fire at her home in Lansdowne, ON on Sunday April 7th 2024.

While the family is grieving their very tragic and sudden loss, they are left with the daunting task of cleaning up the property and house. The house sadly had no insurance so the cost of clean up and removal is on the family. Cindy was a very active member in her community, known for regularly offering more than she had to give, the family would like to thank the many community members who have come forward to help with this overwhelming task.

My Mom has set up a trust account and collections will be deposited there, covering the cost of property clean up.

Cindy leaves behind her father, Sam Douds (Norma Slack), Mother, Barb Serson (Tom Hammond), 4 children: Shannon Douds, Jake Douds, Jerritt Douds (Aly) and Sonia Sherwood, her 7 grandchildren: Dylan, Kieran, Amelia, Cadance, Jocelyn, Thomas and Charlie, her sisters: Tracy Basten and Laurie Cadue (Gerard) and dear friend Jeff Alguire.
