In December, my sister Chyann Payne received the devastating news that she had stage four cancer—lymph, ovarian, cervical, and lung. Since starting chemotherapy in late February, her life has changed dramatically. She’s lost her ability to work, making it impossible to cover her bills and provide for her 12-year-old daughter. The financial strain has been overwhelming, and every day brings new challenges as she fights to stay strong for her family.

Chyann is someone who brings light into every room. She’s always been the one to care for others, especially our mother, and she never hesitates to help anyone in need. Now, she needs support from her community more than ever.
