Hello, my name is Memo and this fundraiser is to help raise funeral costs for my brother-in-law, Jesus “Chuy” Hernandez. On January 2, 2026, Chuy lost his life in a terrible car accident. He was the passenger in a vehicle being recklessly driven by a coworker on their way to go fishing. The driver lost control and overturned their vehicle in a canal. Unfortunately, Chuy did not survive the accident.

He leaves behind a fiancé (my sister) and two beautiful daughters, ages 5 and 6. Chuy was a devoted father, and was so deeply committed to his family. He was a friend to all and his presence (and loud voice) will be greatly missed.

All proceeds will go toward funeral expenses, any remaining funds will be used to support his family during this difficult time. Even if you can’t donate, just sharing can help us lay my brother-in-law to rest and ease the financial burden this unexpected loss has placed on my sister and nieces.
